The first link was fine and dandy, if you are an aviator or a storm chaser who likes to fly like "Dorothy"!

The second link can be tweaked to be used for your area of interest. Just take the link http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/current/KPTS.html and tweak it by cutting off the current/KPTS.html tag.

You will get a web page that will let you find your area of interest:

I was able to check my Lincoln NE location since we have freezing fog in the area. Thanks.

With the US military in Haiti (in large numbers) they have actually set up a new surface obs ID for Port-au-Prince. You can access the numbers here and using the ID KQHA.
