STORM TRACK: September 30, 1983 (Volume 6 Issue 6)

Editor's note: With the increasing number of new subscribers, I have had to discontinue the practice of mailing complete copies of prior issues for the year of subscription. Hereafter, the normal practice will be to start a subscription, like other periodicals, with the current issue at that time. Subscription renewals will be staggered throughout the year, depending on when they began. This will also be fairer to late season subscribers, who will no longer have to renew so soon in November, when most other renewals take place. Back issues will still be available upon request (See last page for a reference list).

The next issue of ST features Storm Data limitations and illustrated chasing safety tips (prompted by an inquiry from Douglas Beadle in Iowa). Also, look for an illustrated summary of the May 17 Kansas tornado chase by Jim Leonard and Barbara White.
