Some notes on this disc . . .

SCOPE
We have tried as hard as possible to reproduce the feel of the paper issues along with every last word, however because of practical considerations we had to omit a small amount of negligable material. For example, the older issues frequently contained a header for a particular section (such as Travel Tips) even when no material was submitted. We omitted these, and we also omitted the Roman numeral system that was often used to organize each issue.

You may make printouts of articles in this archive for personal use. Any type of reuse, resale, transfer, or duplication of any articles, photographs, or data in this archive (including use of material on web pages, transfer by E-mail, or storage on an Internet server) requires the prior written approval of the original author or photographer. Any other use or duplication may violate multiple copyrights, and in turn could subject you to substantial civil damages and severe criminal penalties. EXEMPTION: Contributors of material to Storm Track retain their own rights to their works..

OBSOLETE ADDRESSES
Although we've included all advertisements from past issues, please do not submit any orders without calling or writing the company first. Even if they're still there, they might have moved, their stock may have changed, or the prices may be different. Also, many E-mail addresses and web pages may have changed. Use an Internet search engine if you reach a nonexistent web site or get an "undeliverable E-mail" message.

VIDEO
Some photographs may appear very coarse or have a series of fine lines running horizontally through them. These may be photographs from video footage.

CORRECTIONS
Some minor spelling corrections have been made during the translation of the printed Storm Tracks to electronic form.

UNABRIDGED SECTIONS
Since the archive format has lifted the cost and space restrictions of traditional print media, many articles appear in their full, unedited versions. They will be marked "[ Unabridged ]" at the beginning of the article.

PHOTOS
Some photos may contain enhancements and markings. This process was sometimes done to help improve contrast of key features when the original issue was printed. If we do not have access to the original photos, you may see these markings on some Archive images. We have also done very minor retouching of some photos to eliminate spots and other anomalies on the images.

FRACTIONS
Fractions are written out character by character. For example, 3/4 represents three-fourths, 1/8 represents one-eighth, and 3 1/2 represents three-and-one-half.

ACCURACY
The majority of the text has been compiled using an optical character recognition system. Although we have manually edited the results for accuracy, there may still be some errors. Feel free to notify us where any of these are occurring (refer to the HTML filename where possible).
