What's happening this weekend?

I have bee checking out the GFS and it is indicating what looks like a severe weather event over Oklahoma. But everybody else is saying that it won't be even close to there. I don't know what to believe or if I'm just seeing it wrong.

Yep, going to get a cold front, but not much else. Looked more suspicious earlier in the week, but in typical GFS fashion, all wishcast and no punch when it came down to it.

What are ya'lls thought on Thursday / Friday of next week ? Looks like a pretty good chance of severe weather .

Timing on euro and gfs looks like it's more of a Tue. and maybe Wed. severe wx event...with most of the "action" shunted over to E.Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana...that would be the climatologically favored location for this action to occur as well.
