MOD NOTE: Just a reminder that ONLY FIRST HAND CHASE REPORTS go in a reports thread. If you have a comment to make about the report, put it in a DISC thread for the same date, or start one. This has been happening a lot lately. CHASE REPORT=ACTUALLY CHASED THE STORM

If you weren't personally there and witnessed the event with your own two eyes, you can't post in the REPORT thread.

You can't post for someone else, you can't post what you saw on the news, read on the Internet, read on the SPC/NWS websites, etc etc. All of that stuff goes in a DISC thread for the same date.

This area and the forecast area has stricter rules than the rest of the forum that Tim has stated is MANDATORY to read them to post there. They can be found stickied at the top of the CHASE REPORTS and FORECASTS topics.

Infractions ARE being given by the mods for ignoring the rules for these areas due to the high number of people lately doing so.

If you see a post that doesn't belong, feel free to report it and when one of us comes along we will remove/move it if necessary. To report a post, click on the little red/white yield sign on the upper right of a post.

EDITED 03/02/07: to clarify it must be a CHASE report. Not a "looking out the window at my house" report. This thread is for those actually out chasing to report their results.

Sad that we have to Bump this thread again!

Please READ THE RULES. We are dealing with Many Posts being put into the wrong thread.

This means Posts that belong in Discussion Threads are going into the Reports threads.

IF YOU PERSONALLY CHASED THE EVENT IT CAN GO IN A REPORT THREAD! If not, it MUST go into a Discussion Thread!

Infractions Will Be Issued as this is a Target Area Violation, so please be sure to read up on the rules.

If you have any questions please contact any member of the moderating team.

Bumping this as people can't seem to understand what belongs in a Reports thread.
