Hola chasers!
I'm assisting Denver's 7News with the production of a Colorado Weather book and we're in need of a few pictures. Below is a list of some of the photos we're looking for (preferrably if the photo was taken in Colorado or someplace that looks Eastern Plains-ish). Photographers who donate will certainly get proper credit in the book. Please send your name (correctly spelled), location taken, date, etc. Below are the topics we are short in...
Supercell (both HP and LP)
Wall Cloud
Collar Cloud
Beaver's Tail
Tail Cloud
Striations
Shelf Cloud
Roll Cloud
Mammatus Cloud
Scud Clouds
Land Spouts
Gustnadoes
Good Thunderstorm
Good Tornado
Again, photographers will receive credit in the book for their photo.
We would greatly appretiate any help we can get with these! This is fairly last minute and we're hopeful to find enough photos to cover those topics before the end of the night (I'm just the messenger - LOL).
Thanks!

Feel free to look around here (http://s174.photobucket.com/albums/w84/tornadojunkies/?start=all) and if you see anything you like I can get you a full size 10mp version that would work better for printing in a book.
Most of the good ones in there were taken less than 30 miles from the Colorado border... I have a loooot of others too that aren't in that album but are from the same days.
If you need anything email me at: caleb@calebkimbrough.com
Thanks

If someone is making money from the thing, I figure a person should want more than a credit for their trouble. Credit = not a whole hell of a lot.

True, and those that don't want to help don't have to post, either! :D

I guess I figured it was worth stating from experience. It's not any different than the video licensing stuff. If it's not for some special cause and they are making money, they should be nice(by paying) like they expect you to be nice(by giving your stuff away). If they expect you to just be nice first, screw it.

No arguments there, but as we know everytime these posts come up, there's always someone who just wants the exposure or brag they've been published somewhere. Speaking of photos, I just sent a reply to yet another "CHECK OUT THESE KATRINA PHOTOS" informing the sender that the images are yours! :)
We have received enough replies from chasers where this thread can be closed now, so if a Mod would like, they can toss this into a can someplace! Thanks to everyone who has/is helping out from those back at the Weather Center!

I've got an image of a thin funnel cloud that I took in Estes Park, just outside of the Rocky National Park. Thats just about all I have of colorado stormwise.
