I need to find some rainfall totals for my area and how much extra rain my area has received. I could not find where at the noaa site they had this page.

Any help would be appreciated thank you. If you know any good sites please post a link.

Try www.wunderground.com

You'll find the official NWS data under the "History And Almanac" section.

For example. I typed in Des Moines, IA. Then scrolled down to the history and left the date as today. Year to date precip is 17.43" compared to a yearly average of 14.10.

The official data that is available on Weather Undeground is pretty impressive. You just have to know how to find it.
