I thought we had a thread about this here, but I can't seemed to find it. Apologies if I missed it.

This is for humorous statements that come out from the NWS sometimes.

To kick the thread off, here is one from today's AMA AFD.

<snip>
TIMING OF THE FRONT IS UNCERTAIN AMONG THE MODELS...MOST SUGGEST ARRIVAL CLOSER TO THURSDAY...A BIT BEHIND THE AVN...WHICH MOOOOOOOOOOOVES THE FRONT ON THROUGH. FOR NOW...I PUT THE AVN TIMING OUT TO PASTURE AND WENT WITH A LATER FRONTAL ARRIVAL.

<snip>

MAX TEMPS IN GOING FORECAST THURSDAY AND BEYOND
SEEMED UDDER-LY REASONABLE SO NO MAJOR ADJUSTMENTS.

<snip>

Remember, this is Amarillo, big time cow country!

Thanks for reminding me of the nights I spent camped out overnight at Hereford airport (SW of Ammarillo) as My Nat'l Guard unit travelled to and from the Tulsa area to summer camp at Ft. Bliss, back in '78! Never forget that smell! We were downwind from the feedlots.
