I am having a hard time finding any info concerning a tornado that affected portions of Stafford County Kansas during the late afternoon or early evening of May 5th 2007 and would like to know if anyone has any links etc. to pics and info concerning this storm.

Could this possibly be the tornado that was near Radium? I know that Eric Whitehill and I were on that as well as many others.

Dick McGowan has a pretty good video up on youtube.

Looks more like the tornado I caught just NE of Seward, Ks in Stafford County.

Great video Bart! btw, it's Stafford County. Strafford is in Missouri. Got hit by a tornado on 1/7. :) That may be the same as the pics above, but the pics also look very similar to a 5/5 tornado that crossed U50 right before the side by side tornadoes.

Not to threadjack, but I'm still trying to put together a slideshow of that day for our local residents and would love to use any pics, videos, radargrabs you may have- giving proper credit of course. Threadjack over.

Oops, my fat fingers hit "tr" instead of "t", thanks for pointing out the typo. Guess I should read my posts before hitting submit reply. >.<
It's fixed now, and yes I did mean Stafford.

Anyways I'd be more than willing to donate footage from the 5th for your presentation. Just send me a PM.

I think you are all talking about the same tornado... Radium is 5 miles west of Seward. Anyway, here is the wall cloud a few minutes before the tornado dropped:

BTW I am still kicking myself for not stopping to take pictures/video of the tornado. The lower light levels and moving vehicle really f'd my pictures up. I remember they looked fine in the viewfinder but in reality turned out barely useable.

I was chasing the storm along with Joseph Tyree, Lisa Wadlow and Greg McLaughlin. We caught a nice tornado near Radium (photos below). I was shooting video and Joseph T. was taking photos.
