1/16/07 NOW: KS/MO/IA/NE/WI Winter Storm

Here we go...at my house the temp is currently 30F with a snowy/sleet falling now. With Sedalia, MO basking in 44F. The temperature drop was very significant, the temp dropped 10 degrees within an hours time!! :eek: The forecasted snowfall totals at least here where I live have been upgraded just a nudge from 1-3 inches to 2-4 inches. We will see...saw a couple of salt trucks out on the roads earlier.

Here in St. Joseph, MO we're got some light snow falling currently. We've had flurries most of the day, but they melted until late this afternoon. Now there is about half an inch covering everything, including roads. The wind is blowing it around a bit. We're expecting 3-5".

At 6:52 pm CDT a band of HEAVY snow has begun to affect my area (Washburn).:D It's commin down hard!!
