i still have this satellite picture of some clouds over the ocean that look like fish and whatnot, its pretty crazy...
the top right picture is magnified from the highlighted circle...you can see two dolphins, the eye and the flippers and even the whole body of the first dolphin in front of the second one...and it even looks like theres a little backround for em too...i thought it was a texture map at first and someone snuck it in there, but when i looked i seen it was an actual high-resolution satellite photo...
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n9/wxchaser420/Untitled-1copy.jpg
you can see the full resolution version here, and when you see it there its even clearer then this picture...

The right side of that tower looks like it's flipping me off. About an hour later I get a ticket for not coming to a complete stop(even though I'm 100% certain I did, since the cop was right in front of me going east, waiting to turn left and come north towards me...I stopped and went...prick). I still feel like the clouds are flipping me off.

Mother nature was really "flexing her muscles" on May 23 2004.
Ironically enough, the supercell that originated from that area of cu did go on to produce a large tornado.

Now come on Mike...who flipped off who first? I have flipped off and cussed at quite a few storms myself.

3/11/06 in Southern Oklahoma waiting for the cap to break with Mike Deason, Darin Brunin and Tony Laubach. It never did, during the day. We had a good laugh about it, Mother Nature even has a sense of humor sometimes.

For some time now I have thought there ought to be a new classification of clouds for those that have shapes resembling other objects: cumulus suggestus.

I've seen shapes in the lightning a few times.
Coffee Mug:

When I was 5 or 6 years old, I saw a lightning bolt with a loop shaped like George Washington's head and subsequently used to look out for 'George Washington lightning'.

I see one other poster used a satellite shot, so here is another: a tropical disturbance north of Puerto Rico in 1982 very much resembled a past American President, Tricky Dick.

Wow, that "turkey tower" is sweet! And the link you provided (http://members.aol.com/dryliner/wrysky.html) has some unbelievable (maybe they aren't real..anyone know for sure?) pictures of tornadoes roping out that I have never seen before.

and the picture from the post above that (collapsing twin towers) reminded me of another one I had:

With the same copyright on all three of those, I'm seriously doubting the authenticity. Nice digital editing, though. I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

Mmmmm I agree..That shape is not adequate with the theories of tornadoes forming..As to me it's fairly impossibile to have a similar shape even when the tornado is roping: to have a tornado like that, the storm, while the tornadic strucure is roping, should go ahead, then come back, and the come back another time and so on, and I think this is not possible in nature.

I'm either tired tonight or just too left or right brained, but I'm not seeing anything in half of the photos on here. Maybe us Rorschach-impaired need some more clues.
