Are there any web sites for forecast soundings that go out farther than Earl's 48 hrs ? - http://www.wxcaster.com/model_skewt.htm - ie 84 hrs etc.
Thanks for any info.

Earl Barker's pages provide the best free forecast sounding data on the internet:
http://www.wxcaster.com/etaskewts.htm
http://www.wxcaster.com/model_skewt_looper_72hr.htm
http://www.wxcaster.com/model_skewt.htm
http://www.wxcaster.com/model_skewt_looper.htm
However, these other sites provide good (free) forecast soundings as well:
http://www.stormchaser.niu.edu/machine/fcstsound2.html
http://weather.cod.edu/fsound/
http://www.arl.noaa.gov/ready/states.html Note: Click on state, then click on city from "Model Forecasts" pull-down menu, then choose model from "Sounding" pull-down menu.

Bufkit is good as you can look at different models and sites by downloading data. If you have a limited connection this is great because once you have the data you can disconnect and look at the data without having to stay logged on...a big advantage over internet soundings. Bufkit is here:

And data from around the country can be found here:
