Well I was going through some of my old photos today and found this photo I took last year during the summer. I remember I wasn't chasing. I took it front of my house.

It looks like to me some sort of dry microburst or some kind descending air breaking through the cloud base. It was a multicell storm that went severe warned a few minutes after the photo was taken. The photo was taken near Sherman Tx. Any thoughts?

Maybe it is the sky giving you the goatse? (http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a71/Bart_Comstock/icon4.gifDO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE GOOGLE THAT TERM FROM WORK!http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a71/Bart_Comstock/icon4.gif). But seriously I am not totally sure how ever your guess of a dry microburst sounds plausible.

Yeah, I would lean towards your own theory that it's a dry microburst. I've seen this happen plenty of times (Mike Hollingshead (http://www.extremeinstability.com/05-5-17.htm) has a good example (http://www.extremeinstability.com/stormpics/05-5-17-3532.jpg) of this... I was on the same storm but don't have anything online right now) with high-based DMC that occurs in a dry boundary layer.

Good day,

It's called a "subsidence hole" ... Simply a down-draft breaking through the cloud base (clouds are dissolved by re-evaporation as the sinking air parcel warms and dries due to the adiabatic effect).

Hey guys thanks for your help.. I just thought it was interesting how symetrical it was. I had thoughts to what it could be but wanted other opinions.

If you are not used to how vile the internet is DO NOT go looking for answers to goatse....

A phenomenon known as "goatse" has taken the internet by storm, in what has become the fad from hell that just won't die. Don't know what goatse is? It's a picture, go look it up, can't miss it. Unfortunately, no one can be told what the goatse is...you must see it for yourself....

Though I don't agree with the last phases: The 8 phases of goatse (http://www.the-elite.net/ClarkPage/Phases)

By all means don't look up "goatse marathon"

There is also "2 girls 1 cup" for a real laugh see The Reaction Video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SsUTLAhbWE)

Personally Jackie should have his ass beat severely.....

It does seem the newest video fad is the reaction video series. Another (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uAkMbQWT14)
