Large rotating portion of a rainband moving from St. John's into Duval Cty. TOR warned and spotter net is reporting tornado. From where I am, I'll never catch it since it is moving too rapidly. However, NWS Jax is calling this a strong/violent tornado. Admittedly rotation is broad and visible on all angles via radar. Visually everything remains nondescript. Intercept for me is >20 miles away. Bummer...

Oh for the love of g--....That's just not right. I mean, seriously. That is NOT right. This close to home...this spectacular...grrrr.
I'll humor myself by noting that the LCLs were 20 feet. I was still 20 miles as the crow flies.
