Clue: Rain or shine, Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek will introduce a new category featuring this federal agency on Wednesday, November 26.

Answer: What is the National Weather Service?

If you're a fan of the TV game show Jeopardy!, you will want to watch on Wednesday, November 26, for the debut of a new category: The National Weather Service. Jeopardy! producers worked with staff in the Upton, NY, Weather Forecast Office to develop clues and answers. Jeopardy! also shot weather forecasting scenes there and collected radar and other images to be used in video clues.

Cool! For those of us who wont get to watch, someone can feel free to post the questions here! I would love to see what they ask, and I bet others would too!

What gets me about this choice - is what are the chances that these people will be stumped on the category?
It could be the tie breaker choice for those in the know...

I wonder if they got the idea from Allen Rosenberg (http://www.stormtrack.org/humor/gz.htm).

The questions were actually just general meteorology questions. I mean, the $1000 clue was: "This type of storm is known for spawning tornadoes and is characterized by a persistent, rotating updraft."
