GRlevel3 Smoothing

I wanted to know if the outcome of the "smoothing" option on grlevel3 is directly related to the graphics card inside your laptop or if there are ways to change the settings. I don't have a screen capture available, but I have noticed from some postings on here, and also from my friend's laptop, that the "smoothing" option produces much better results for others than what it does on my computer. My display is not real defined so I always stick to the pixilated display. I have dell latitude, but I am not sure on the specific type of graphic card that is installed in the computer. Thanks for any info!

You can find out what card is in your laptop by clicking the help and then about tab. The better the graphics card the better the smoothing .

I have noticed when putting it on another lesser computer a few times before that it looked worse the less card I had.

Go to File > Device Settings, then check the "Force 16 bit smoothing"

Well thanks for the quick replies. In other words I am just screwed with smoothing option! That is okay, I am used to all the pixels by now. This is the graphics card I have installed on my laptop.

I am guessing that one is pretty crappy? I should have upgraded that option when ordering from dell.

Sorry, I did not see your reply Dick. Thanks for the help! I did not have that selected on grlevel3. I changed it while looking at that tornado warned cell in Grayson Co., TX.
