Hey everyone,

I'd like to use my van's roof rack to hold a flat board with weather instruments. I'd like to be able to quickly put it on and take it off (for overnight security or right before a core punch). I think straps would be a little cumbersome and I'd like there to be no potential for shifting of the board while driving. Perhaps a clamp of some sort. Anyone have any ideas?

Try this:

Just Kidding!

How about setting it up with center locking pins...at the end of day, pull them out and the whole thing moves inside...

What kind of car and rack is it?

I always try to suggest using Sticky Pods, which don't require a roof rack. Without straps and other securing measures, I would suggest six cups for a Weather Instrument roof pack.

Take some photos and such if you want some more detailed ideas.
