Just completed my spotter class today through Henry County. Was a very interesting class. Barry Gooden, FFC NWS did an outstanding job. Saw many videos and pictures from storm chasers. :D

The big day here in Lansing is Saturday. I've got 200 pre-registered, expecting at least that, and I'm in charge. Fun stuff!

The Basic Spotter Class I will be attending is Wednesday March 11th and the Advanced Class is Saturday March 28th. Also hope to make Chicago's Channel 9 Tom Skillings Severe Weather Seminar in Batavia,Ill. held at Fermalab, its on Saturday April 25th.

I haven't been able to find a Skywarn class listed in our area. We have an upcoming NWS spotter meeting coming up on March 31, but that is just the usual 2 hour quickie
