Did not hope for much today but storms were firing and that is all I need to go. Went east of Dodge headed for cell that was northeast of Greensburg. As I drove that cell looked like it was getting weaker. So stopped to check radar, saw a cell going up again north of Greensburg was high based LP but with what looked like a wall cloud as I got closer could see it had some rotation. Stayed with it as it tried several times to spin up but could only produce two brief funnels. Here are a few pictures.

Nice photos Edward! I documented the same storm yesterday. It was a nice little high based cell with rapid rotation at times. The hail fall in the vault region was pretty awesome as well. The largest stones I saw were around the size of quarters.

The first chasing yesterday for the Italian Thunderstorm Team... not so bad!

We have intercept the two Supercell of a day, the first near Greensburg and Trusdale and the second maybe some miles at east.

So... this is my photoes.

As those storms moved over us last night they provided some rather intense lightning which I went out to shoot. More Here! (http://www.flickr.com/photos/kansashorizons)

Numerous lines of storms rolled through.

The 3 AM line had some awesome structure but it was hard to get the lightning to cooperate as a flash to illuminate it. As this was getting closer I could hear quite a roar down the line South and started seeing some power flashes that I attributed to high winds but I am not yet sure where they came from.
