All,
I am trying to calculate 0-1KM, 0-3KM, and 0-6KM shear from RUC data from KNHK. Can someone assist in passing a formula and/or calculation along for doing this. What I come up with is taking the surface level U and V components and finding the difference at the upper level. Is this correct?
