Help....I am on the way to the Vernon, Wichita falls area today, Friday 5-1-09, My Xm files got corrupted when I downloaded the Free XM online. Now my mobile system will not work.
The only way to fix it is to reload the program. My disks are in OKC...Anyone chasing today got XM Ground or Wings discs with them that I can borrow to reload my files...
I dont have mobile internet...Please call me at (405) 812-5943.

Thanks

I don't think it will work unless you have your disks that came with the unit. We tried to load my disks on a computer with a different unit, would not work with that unit.....But I could be wrong.

I know this will not help but Dan had a great suggestion the other day.

WXworx software is unique to the radio ID number of the unit. Be aware of this if you are purchasing a receiver on ebay that doesn't include the software!

Have you tried opening XMLink first? Because of your problem I started up my WxWorx and noticed it couldn't find the radio ID (I too un-installed xm online). So I opened XMlink... it had to create a file of some kind. Since then it appears to be working correctly.

edit: hmmm... I now have to open XmLink first... or threat net won't start.

edit2: hmmm... radar not showing up, may need to reinstall: errr....

edit3: had to reinstall, now works... sorry couldn't find other way to get it working
