If you're in the market for the Canon EF-S 10-22 wide angle lens, Canon's spring instant rebates have kicked in and you can get this lens (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/351542-USA/Canon_9518A002_EF_S_10_22mm_f_3_5_4_5_USM.html) at B&H for $660 with free shipping.

Not a bad deal for an outstanding storm photography lens!

A plug for B&H Photo...

I bought my 10-22 a little over a week ago. Just spoke to a customer service agent who said they would honor the rebate on my purchase.:D

Although $50 off a $700 lens doesn't seem that big of a deal....something someone could negotiate without a sale anyway. But then again B&H already has good prices.

I just purchased one from BuyDig for $660 ($670 with the shipping). It seems that shortly after Canon announced the spring rebates, I noticed the price for the 10-22 on Adorama and B&H jumped to $750 before the rebate, therefore, when the rebate is applied directly the lens goes for $700....the price the lens was initially BEFORE Canon announced the rebates. They're not the only ones however. I noticed that many websites increased the price on the lens so when the rebate is applied you haven't really saved anything. The only two sites that you get any type of actual savings on it seems are BuyDig and NewEgg....at least for the 10-22.

That's interesting, because in many states, that's illegal. It is here in Maryland, with the exception of some half dozen items. Many department stores have been caught and fined for this practice. Perhaps because it's on the internet, they can do it.
