Hey all! I am thrilled to announce that as of 1:00pm this afternoon, I did my last final as an undergrad. I am now a Meteorologist! Last semester I graduated with the Bachelor's in Interactive Media and wrapped up my studies this semester and have completed it all. Took a long time to do so, but I finally did it. Walking out of that final today was one of the coolest feelings in the world! And now, I'm eastbound on I-70 to chase Illinois tomorrow! I cannot think of a better way to celebrate this accomplishment! :)

Congratulations, Tony. I know how you feel. After six long years in college, I finally graduated last Friday with two degrees, one in meteorology, the other in mathematics. Best of luck to you in your career.

I accomplished the same when I finished my final last Tuesday! And if we do meet up sometime we will have to buy each other some beers as well...

I second the thought by Ryan! We had a nice little storm system that blew thru here in the early morning hours in Lincoln NE.

My dog, Bear-Bear, he is a natural weather predictor!! When it's rainy or stormy, he gets the "shakes"! He finds a warm. comforting lap and shakes every so often like a vibrating toy. Only after the storm/rain has passed, does he calms down and relaxes.

Tony, may your first tornado as a "weather guy" be a stove-pipe EF4, hanging down from a "mother-ship" super-cell! :D Hopefully this first one will do nothing more than plow thru the countryside, blow the feathers off of chickens in a coop and give a herd of cows flying lessons. (Movie Twister "There goes a cow...there goes another cow...no it's the same one!) :eek: LJK.
