Yeah I kinda wished I had headed down to Midland to get some lightning video. Check this out from MAF NWS:
THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED 3 MILES NORTHEAST OF MIDLAND...
MOVING SOUTHWEST AT 20 MPH.
Fairly rare to see severe storms moving SW in west TX!

I DIDNT NOTICE EARLIER BUT DID THEY EVER ISSUE A WATCH FOR TEXAS OR OKLAHOAM TODAY? IF SO DOES ANYONE HAVE A GRAPHIC?
THX!

I could be wrong but I think no watches were issued for the tx area. I remember reading an evening discussion that although a slight risk was warranted the expected number of storms would not meet watch criteria.

Sorry Aaron.
I type alot of my stuff in all caps so that my grandfather who is pretty hard of seeing can read them easier. It has become somewhat of a habit. He likes to read my chase reports & I also do those in all caps on my website. If I do it in the future just please cut me a bit of slack. I talk to him on the PC at night via AOL IM so again im typing caps on ti as well.

Thanks Jason. Understand about the grandfather, but realize in most all online forums all caps is considered yelling and rude.
