Most EMWIN receivers I'm familiar with put out their signals on 9-pin COM ports. However I notice that the brand-name notebook and desktop manufacturers have pretty much phased out COM ports in favor of USB. Is that pretty much 100% true? I wouldn't mind finding a notebook computer that still offers COM ports. I know Belkin makes decent USB adapters, but it seems like a clumsy workaround.
