After reviewing my video from 22 May today, I discovered that I had photographed the Hallam tornado after dark. The following image was taken around 9 pm, or about 30 minutes after Hallam was hit by the tornado. The tornado was just to the northeast of Panama, Nebraska at the time of the image.

I apologize for the grainy nature of the video capture. I will have a new camcorder this spring, thank goodness! :P

The tornado is located in the center of the image. At the time of this image, the tornado was approximately 1 mile in diameter. The clear slot associated with the rear-flank downdraft can be seen at left center. The view is to the northeast.
