what was it like 10 tornados in CA ? (Jan/ Feb)

Yea having lived here in california for 35 years I gotta say I havent seen this kinda activity ever - we NEVER storm chase here but that all changed this last week - and I was caught off gaurd having my storm equipment still in storage for april chasing in texas !!!! duhh felt kinda stupid
We feel it was the recent tsunami that has caused our rain totals to be so high but purely speculation.
