An awesome isolated cell just developed in Montcalm Co., MI ... Dewpoint depression is much less severe now (<10F) then further south (compared to >20F near Detroit into Adrian). GRR radar shows decent reflectivities and high VIL -- with the storm pushing NE at around 20 MPH.

It's too bad the threat will continue to weaken with the loss of diurnal heating in the next hour or two...

I think our definition of "awesome" is way different ;> Remember the MESH hail size output is "maximum estimated" as studies confirm you will find most (if any) hail notably smaller.

Can't see a whole lot happening, let alone severe, in this environment.
