Funnel Cloud Sighting Johnson County Indiana 7-15-2005

Here is a link to a photo album I made of a VERY SMALL, Supercell Storm (Formed in part from the leftover low of Dennis) . This storm produced this small funnel that was visible for about 15 minutes, but never touched down. Enjoy and let me know what you think:

May have been a cold air funnel. Hard to know not having been there at the time, but that would be my guess anyway.

I'll agree with Drew...look like CAFs to me. A friend of mine said he saw one in Lafayette just before noon. Which may be the case since someone decided the sirens needed to go off. Caught me by suprise (and in the middle of moving my girlfriend's furniture)...glad to see no TORIND came out.

We had a fairly large one over Champaign last weekend as well. Seem's we cant get any real tornadoes, but can get plenty of little funnels that catch you off guard.
