So far I have two confirmed storm surge reports from Fox News.

Orange Beach, Al : 16'

Bay of St. Louis: 22'

If anyone has more reports, post them here.

yeah, they said it on wkrg tv in mobile and showed video.

Just showed on CNN that an entire oil rig has been dislodged and brought ashore. It's currently stuck under a bridge.

that's the hwy98 bridge in mobile. the rig was a drilling rig, so they are movable anyway.

Hancock EOC took on water

A report from the Hancock County Emergency Operaations Center says that they got a foot of water in the EOC. Before the storm, they said they were at 30 feet elevation. That's an indication of the storm surge.

My parents called from Gulfport to say the place they are hunkering down in on 2nd Street (23 feet above sea level) suffered >5' in the house this morning.
