Twinspan I-10 "gone"

Hearing from multiple places that FEMA has said and the mayor has confirmed that the Twinspan I-10 in NOLA is "gone". Gone may be a metaphorical word, I dunno. I did find this link over at the Times Picayune (I tinyurl'd it so as not to screw up the forum):

WWL TV reporting that Mayor Nagin said the Twin Span was "totally destroyed" and that 80% of the city is underwater.
