I decided to post this in here so everybody can view it (besides, it's not really a FCST either)...

Some breaks in clouds has allowed for some insolation in some of the threat area. The best threat appears for anywhere that could get at least somewhat unstable today... With that area being NC/WV and perhaps eastern KY. Very strong low-level shear (>400M2/S2 0-3KM HELICITY) along with sufficiant deep-layer shear (>35KTS 0-6KM) and sbCAPE >500J/KG will provide the chance for mini-supercells and isolated tornadoes today.

Very defined mini-supercell has intensified dramatically within the past few scans south of Hillsville, VA - and is showing some decent low-level rtation.

Isn't the Maproom closed off from everybody besides members?

Only members can make posts, but anyone can read them.
