Toasty all right... just got back from Alaska (was on my honeymoon!). Along the panhandle (The Inside Passage), it was pretty much upper 70s-upper 80s every day. When we arrived in Juneau, it was their 6th day in a row with 80+ temps... easily breaking the record of 3 days in the years past.

I've noticed all the stations reporting smoke across eastern Alaska and the Yukon the past couple weeks and wondered what was up. Turns out they are having some pretty bad wildfires up that way - some triggered by lightning!
