Vote for a moderator

We've decided to let the users hand pick one of the moderators. Shown above is a list of the candidates who volunteered to participate (and don't mind being thrust into a popularity contest). The others declined, or a response wasn't received.

We'll pick the other moderator, based on experience and expertise, regardless of whether they run for the popular vote or not.

Well, this is a landslide victory for David. I'm locking the poll and we'll accept him as the new moderator. I'm going to run a second poll to get recommendations for the second moderator.

David's moderator duties will become official as soon as he formally accepts, and as soon as we wrap up our internal debates in the administrative area. This will be another day or two.
