I have a question about the damage ratings. Are they per the old scale or the EF scale? I'm wondering if there could be EF-5 rating somewhere out there.

The EF scale is not used by the NWS until next year.

It appears that the F3 tornadoes surveyed so far have all been after sunset. Not that this is an unusual situation for March, but it's interesting to note. The tornadoes I witnessed were well after sunset and from a beautifully structured dryline type supercell in Saline Co. Missouri.
