It was about midnight when I left my mom's house last night, and the whole town was being illuminated by awesome light pillars. These are probably the most vivid I've seen in person. Pretty cool way to end Christmas day.

It was about 13°F at that time, and some low clouds were streaming in from the north. We rarely see them this far south.

You can listen to thunder after lightning and tell how close you came to getting hit. If you don't hear it, you got hit, so never mind.
