This past year with my limited chase time and crappy conditions I would have been happy just to see a tornado.

I had a fun little experience this past season. I was at the tip of a bow and there were tons of little gustnadoes around us. I saw one about to move across the road and positioned myself to collide with it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgAfCLfhSiA

Keep in mind, I am a staff chaser and photojournalist at an OKC TV station, so I have realtime access to the airwaves and get in trouble if I don't get my video on TV that night. It was not at all a quest for glory, just a fun little thing to do. This vid never even aired.

That said, it was a weak little gustnado.... anything heftier, and I would have kept a distance. I am in no position to serve my viewers if I am dead.

Sorry the vid is dark. My dashcam sucks and I was letting my driver get some rest, and obviously cant shoot with the fancycam while driving LOL.
