The National Weather Festival will be held on Saturday November 7th from 9am until 1pm at the National Weather Center in Norman, OK.
The event is free and open to anyone interested in weather and in learning more about what goes on in the Norman weather community. There will be lots of activities for the kids, hourly weather balloon launches and more. We are also looking for vehicles for the annual Storm Chaser/Spotter Car Show. Prizes will be awarded in several categories. The car show is always one of the highlights of the festival. For more information, visit the website: http://www.norman.noaa.gov/events/nwf09/ If you're on Facebook, join the National Weather Festival group: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/gr...5310404&ref=ts You can also get updates on the festival by following NWF09 on Twitter: http://twitter.com/nwf09 Hope to see you there! I'll be there, albeit kinda late. These are very fun events and worth a bit of a drive to attend. So who else is going?

Ill definitely be there, I've been the last 2 years! I would like to enter my vehicle into the car show, but am hesitant on doing so, due to the fact that I am just a storm photographer/chaser and only have a laptop and a couple of different mounts rigged up in my cab for video and stills. So, there's not that much to look at!

Jeremy, enter it! Thing is, you may have a set-up in a similar vehicle to someone else and they may need ideas or inspiration! Even the most basic set-up is sometimes exactly what people want to look at.
