Time Odom Town/Heading Remarks

1:29P 813 COLBY- Easterly upslope winds. Convergence max is to our east. Greatest dewpoint gradients to the east. Surface low is over Hill City today with a lagging dryline extending to near Dodge City. We seem to be in the middle of it.

It's a toss up whether to go east or west today. North-central Kansas or Northeast Colorado are two target areas today. We chose to go east to Hill City.

2:50 886 HILL CITY- Stopped at rest area on west side of town. Met Jim Leonard and a caravan of other chasers. Shooted the breeze all day.
